We are thrilled to celebrate Ares’ 13th consecutive summer of volunteerism and our 2025 Summer of Service. This year, we mobilized employees across 32 global offices to make a meaningful difference in their local communities. Over the course of 65 volunteer events supporting food security, youth development, environmental restoration and employment, Ares’ involvement saved $106K in labor and development costs for our nonprofit partners, packed nearly 90K meals, mentored 500 kids and teens through skills-based trainings and more. We find that employees are inspired when making a difference where they live, work and play and we are proud of the philanthropic commitments the Ares community reinforces through this initiative. 

We are excited to announce that Anup Agarwal has joined Ares as a Partner and the new Head and Chief Investment Officer of Ares Insurance Solutions (AIS). Anup brings more than 25 years of investment experience to AIS, where he will lead the investing activities for Ares with respect to Aspida, and he will support the continued expansion of AIS investment solutions for third-party insurance clients. On Friday, the SEC declared effective the registration statement on Form S-4 that Ares Acquisition Corporation II (AACT) and Kodiak jointly filed in connection with the previously announced proposed business combination between AACT and Kodiak. An extraordinary general meeting of AACT's shareholders to approve the transaction is scheduled to be held on September 23, 2025.
