Now in our third year supporting Surge for Water, INC Group was honoured to return as a Global Advocate Partner for the 2025 edition, themed Broken Beautiful, a powerful reminder to embrace imperfection, celebrate repair, and honour the stories materials carry. Alongside our partners at JLL MENA, INC Group served as the build partner for their design 'Metamorphosis Orbit', a beautifully crafted coffee table that gives new life to forgotten construction and factory materials, reshaping them into an elegant centrepiece for the living room. A special moment for our COO, Ciaran Crowley, who had the honour of presenting the Peer Choice & Practical Excellence Award, won by DESIGN MATTER for their brilliant 'ReSeat' design, constructed entirely from reclaimed plywood salvaged from discarded furniture and local workshop offcuts. A true showcase of circular design at its best. Surge continues to remind us that their impact reaches far beyond water, delivering holistic Water+ solutions, including safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and menstrual health, to enable lasting change and thriving communities. We are proud to support a cause that transforms lives, honours craftsmanship, and inspires our industry to build with purpose.

We are pleased to welcome Nermeen Zeineddine to the 2026 Advisory Board. Nermeen, Head of Design at INC KSA, brings extensive experience in creating innovative, people-first workspaces across Saudi Arabia and beyond. She has contributed to landmark projects including the Ritz-Carlton, DGDA, UNHCR offices, and the award-winning AviLease project, which was named Design & Build Project of the Year 2024. Nermeen has also worked with high-profile clients such as VISA, Deloitte, White & Case, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and King Salman International Airport Offices. Each year, the region's Architecture and Design community gathers to celebrate sustainable design in support of Surge for Water's mission to deliver comprehensive water solutions globally. This year's "Broken Beautiful" theme challenges designers to transform discarded materials into compelling creations. Our collaboration with INC Group and Bespoke Interiors has produced Metamorphosis Orbit – a coffee table that rescues forgotten construction and factory materials, transforming them into an elegant living room centerpiece. Seven thoughtful components work in harmony: rich burgundy and warm beige tabletops rest on three interlocking green base panels, anchored by graceful floral-inspired supports. The real magic? Split it in half to create two chic side tables whenever you need extra space. Those sleek green bases are rescued stone offcuts saved from landfills, proving that sustainability and style go hand in hand. Metamorphosis Orbit isn't just furniture – it's adaptable design that champions eco-friendly living while working beautifully in any space. Meet the people behind our projects! Neil Buchanan, INC Project Director in Abu Dhabi, brings 22 years of construction experience. From unusual projects like indoor skydiving to the joy of opening a brand-new primary school, Neil values integrity in his team and loves the calm of Abu Dhabi. If he could have one superpower at work, it would be infinite patience. Mahen Rodrigo, Senior Project Manager, has 15 years of Fit-Out experience and thrives on challenging projects. One highlight was managing the Provis Khidmah project for Al Dar, overcoming seemingly impossible obstacles and achieving a top-tier LEED certification. Mahen values consideration, compassion, and integrity in his team and believes that being human is the ultimate superpower.
