Day 1 of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix 2025 Season Grand Final, presented by ‪AbuDhabiSC, kicked off with the Beyond the Race: SailGP Industry Forum, which convened leaders from sport, technology, and investment to explore the future of high-performance sport, honored by the presence of H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation. The forum featured H.E. Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak, President of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, and Hadi Alaskari, our Senior Vice President – Sponsorship & Community Outreach, who discussed the evolution of next-generation sports leagues and the role of strategic investment in shaping their impact, setting the stage for a weekend of innovation, resilience, and high-performance action.⁩

Last week, the Dubai Airshow convened leading aerospace companies and industry players from around the world, showcasing the technologies and partnerships shaping the future of the industry. Through our national champions, we continue to drive innovation across aerostructures, propulsion, and space technologies, reinforcing the UAE’s role as a global hub for advanced aerospace and powering a sustainable, high-tech ecosystem that supports the nation’s long-term ambitions. Here are some highlights from our participation.

The 15th Mubadala Business Ethics Forum 2025, held under the theme “See Behind the Numbers,” featured opening remarks from our Chief Financial Officer, Carlos Obeid, and brought together more than 170 attendees, including leaders from Mubadala, our portfolio companies, and key stakeholders representing over 20 government entities and business partners.   The forum explored how integrity and good governance drive sustainable growth, emphasizing the importance of ethical leadership and regulatory diligence in maintaining trust. It also examined how ethics and compliance are embedded in the investment lifecycle, and how evolving due diligence requirements and AI-integrated solutions are shaping decision-making in today’s dynamic environment.   Watch the video for highlights from the forum.

Our fifth Responsible Investing Network Event brought together more than 60 leaders and sustainability professionals from across our UAE-based portfolio to explore how sustainability drives value creation and long-term performance. We led discussions on how sustainability continues to drive business value and resilience across our portfolio, and how this is playing out in global markets. The event concluded with the second annual RI Network Awards, recognizing Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), the Sustainability Progress Award recipient; Tabreed, the Sustainability Project Award recipient; and Hasna Manea, Sustainability Manager at Abu Dhabi National Hotels, the Emerging Sustainability Leader Award recipient, for their outstanding contributions to sustainability across our portfolio.
