Deloitte recently released the 16th annual Tech Trends 2025 report, spotlighting the key forces set to redefine how businesses operate and compete across Australia. Today in Brisbane, I facilitated this year’s Tech Trends 2025 event, where we explored these transformative trends – all through the lens of a central theme: AI becoming a foundational substructure across every Queensland industry. We explored three macro technology forces shaping the future: Interaction – as spatial computing takes centre stage, changing how people engage with technology.  Information – uncovering what’s next for AI and how its evolution is driving smarter, faster decision-making.  Computation – how advancements in hardware are rapidly expanding what’s possible (“hardware is eating the world”).  We also unpacked three ground forces that are reshaping organisations from within: Business of Technology – how AI is extending the reach and influence of technology functions across the enterprise.  Cyber and Trust – tackling the new frontier of cryptography in the quantum age.  Core Modernisation – how AI is accelerating the evolution of core systems and digital foundations. AI experimentation to scale. That’s one of the key topics in my conversation with Shereen Bhan of CNBC-TV18 alongside Cognizant CFO Jatin Dalal. I look at the adoption of AI in three vectors:   ➡️ 1. Addressing productivity and efficiency ➡️ 2. Infusing it across applications ➡️ 3. Infusing it at enterprise scale   Clients have successfully adopted the first vector, using AI for tasks like writing code and enhancing customer experiences at contact centers. The next big opportunity lies in the second vector: building agents and orchestration platforms. This will be a major theme for 2025 as we move from experimentation to scale.
