More below: Global fast casual dining powerhouse Wingstop has officially landed in Australia. With over 2,500 stores and a cult-like fanbase globally, Wingstop’s arrival has been one of the most anticipated QSR launches in recent years. Off the back of a competitive pitch process, Wingstop Australia has appointed Hello as its full-service agency of record. Hello will lead brand, creative, media, earned, experiential, digital, social, collaborator, in-store, POS & retail, one-to-one & loyalty programs. The partnership signals a bold, flavour-packed new chapter for Australian fast casual dining, with the brand opting for a single agency that can deliver success across traditional and new media environments. “Wingstop is one of the world's most exciting brands,” said Sam Kelly, Managing Director of Hello. “They have a rich history and well-established presence in the US as sponsors of the NBA and UFC. Conversely, in emerging markets like the UK, they have won over Gen Z by tapping into culture and letting collaborators lead. Here’s the truth: → A range review isn’t a victory → Launch week isn’t the test → Sell-in ≠ sell-through Most brands get 13 weeks to prove they belong. Under performance in this time can result in a delisting. And it usually comes down to two things: → How effective is your promo program? (particularly in that first 13 weeks) → Can you scale to category velocity benchmarks quick enough? I’ve seen incredible products delisted because they couldn’t move units at pace. Not because the product was bad. But because they weren’t ready for retail reality. 📝 Getting ranged is about strategy. 📈 Staying ranged is about execution. THE ICONIC has become the first multi-brand online retailer in Australia to launch a shoppable ‘Rescued’ category. The category launches in collaboration with Australian startup Revibe, who will expertly clean and repair returned pieces that have been returned to THE ICONIC’s warehouse with minor imperfections, before being restocked on site at a lower price point. Rescued will sit under RE-ICONIC®, a new hub for circular solutions designed to help fashion lovers refresh and recirculate their wardrobes, with existing Pre-Loved and clothing Donation and Recycling services.
