My client is a leading Global software and Technology business that has an outstanding reputation both locally and internationally for mitigating risk for their customers. Their software and solutions are all wrapped around data, providing crucial insights that result in their customers being able to make more informed business decisions.

Their solutions are best in class, having won numerous local and international awards for their effectiveness in saving their clients from both monetary and reputational damage.


There is high demand for their solutions currently and the business continues to go from strength to strength. As a result of this continued growth, they have signed off a new Strategic Account Director role in Sydney.


As a Strategic Account Director, you will be responsible for identifying and closing large, complex software and consultancy services led opportunities within your customer base. You will own the strategic business relationship with your assigned customers at all levels.


Key responsibilities:


  • Management of strategic relationships across Financial Services (big 4 banks) - you will go deep and broad into these customers, targeting multiple divisions and varied stakeholders
  • Achievement of revenue targets
  • Internal and external key stakeholder management
  • Development of strategic account plans
  • Overall project delivery responsibility for clients
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations


Key skills required:


  • Extensive track record of sales achievement within a Senior Account Director / Client Executive role
  • Experience of managing and growing large strategic accounts across the banking sector
  • You will be a proven hunter and relationship manager with strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • Ability to create strategic account development plans
  • Extremely consultative approach to account development - experience of mid to long sales cycles (inc software sales)
  • Experience of dealing at C level
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations
