We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Business Development Director to pioneer and lead our market expansion efforts across the ANZ region. This is a high-impact role designed for a leader who can shape market strategy, forge key partnerships, and drive significant revenue growth for our advanced LED display solutions.
You will be responsible for defining the market entry and growth roadmap, building a high-performing ecosystem, and positioning our company as the premier partner for high-value LED projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Market Leadership: Develop and execute the comprehensive business development strategy for the Australasia region, identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities and emerging trends in the LED display and visual solutions space.
2.Key Relationship & Portfolio Management: Cultivate and manage a high-value portfolio of strategic accounts, including major system integrators, key distributors, and enterprise-level end-users. Build C-level relationships to secure large-scale, long-term contracts.
3.Driving Revenue & Market Penetration: Be directly accountable for achieving ambitious sales targets and profitability metrics. Spearhead initiatives to significantly enhance our market presence and share.
4.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Work closely with global product development, marketing, and technical teams to ensure our solutions are perfectly aligned with local market demands and future trends. Serve as the "voice of the market" within the global organization.
Candidate Requirements / Qualifications:
1.A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales and business development, with a proven track record in the LED display, Audio-Visual integration, or advanced electronics sector.
2.A demonstrable history of successfully developing a territory from the ground up or significantly expanding market share in a competitive environment.
3.Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into a actionable, successful business plans.
4.An established network of contacts within the A/V, system integration, or major event/project management industries across Australia/New Zealand is highly advantageous.
5.Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior-level decision-makers and lead complex deals to closure.
6.Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
7.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adept at working autonomously in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment. Willingness to travel as required for strategic client and partner engagement.
