National Business Manager - Confectionary

Connect APAC are partnering with one of the fastest growing confectionary businesses in Australia. Currently experiencing double-digit growth and on track to double over the next 5 years, this role will be critical in their expansion across structured accounts.

The National Business Manager will play a key role in driving commercial success through strategic customer partnerships, revenue growth, and category development.

This position is responsible for managing major national retail accounts while also leading the growth of new business across emerging channels. You will bring together data-led insights, strong commercial judgement, and collaborative leadership to deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Objectives

• Lead strategic partnerships with national retail customers to deliver mutual growth.
• Identify and secure new distribution and channel opportunities to support category expansion.
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies that strengthen retail presence and commercial performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution across marketing, operations, and supply chain.
• Develop, negotiate, and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) aligned to customer and company objectives.
• Translate consumer, category, and shopper insights into clear commercial strategies.
• Identify innovation and expansion opportunities across existing and new channels (structured retail, eCommerce, and emerging growth sectors).

Experience Required

• Experience at National Account Manager level
• Must have grocery channel experience within FMCG - ideally food/bev
• Strong commercial capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
