🚴♂️ Meet Our Road Warrior – Kiril Shishkov! 🌄 Covering an impressive 3,184 km of outdoor cycling, Kiril sprinted, climbed, and cruised his way to the top of our Active Summer Challenge leaderboard! 🏆 His adventurous spirit and unstoppable energy earned him the title of Outdoor Cycling Champion - and plenty of stories along the way. One thing you should know about Kiril: he’s an early-bird rider. How early? Just-before-sunrise early. And yes — he has the battle scars to prove it, including a few chaotic run-ins with stray dogs… and even a bear. 🐻🚴♂️ If that’s not dedication, we don’t know what is! 🌟 Updata One at Sofia Talks Business Bootcamp 2025 🌟 This weekend we had the pleasure of joining SofiaTalks Business Bootcamp, an event that brought together close to 1000 curious, driven and creatively fearless young people. We had inspiring conversations at our stand, exchanged ideas about the future of technology, and witnessed firsthand how confidently the next generation thinks about innovation, AI, and business transformation. During the interactive workshop we hosted, led by our HR Director Milena Halacheva and Training & Development Manager Desislava Petrova, we explored the topic Recruitment in Industry 4.0. We shared real business insights on the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into recruitment and encouraged participants to generate bold new ideas for the future of HR. Ognyan brings over 20 years of experience in journalism, with strong expertise in storytelling, team leadership, and content strategy. As a long-time Managing Editor at Capital, he led the Capital Cities division and launched the “City Lovers” award, supporting impactful local initiatives. An economist by education and a Fulbright and Robert Bosch alumnus, he has researched urban dynamics and remigration to Central and Eastern Europe at MIT and IWM–Vienna. His work blends analytical thinking with a storyteller’s intuition, helping him turn complex insights into meaningful strategies. When asked about what drives him, Ognyan shared: “I am deeply, incurably curious. It’s a blessing and a curse, as I adore going into rabbit holes. I tend to listen very carefully and that helps me understand some complex issues rather quickly". With his mix of curiosity, listening skills, and strategic mindset, Ognyan is poised to bring fresh energy and vision to the role. Outside of work, Ognyan enjoys exploring new experiences, nurturing his hobbies, and spending time with close friends and loved ones.
