Agnico Eagle recently welcomed Grade 12 students from First Nation Partner communities to Detour Lake mine in Northern Ontario for an immersive two-day visit. Students explored key areas of the operation, learned about mining processes, experienced camp life at Sagimeo Lodge, and connected with teams across site to discover the wide range of careers available - from mining and maintenance to environmental stewardship and camp services. Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience informative and inspiring, strengthening relationships and encouraging the next generation of talent!
