Hazelview was proud to join our partners Tridel, Deltera Construction Management, and Hammer Heads at the BOLT Day of Discovery, an inspiring initiative led by the BOLT Foundation and Tridel, in collaboration with George Brown College. Hosted at the Hazelview Bloor & Dufferin development site, the event gave students a firsthand look at life on an active construction site, showcasing apprenticeship pathways and the power of community partnerships in action. We were especially proud to see Hammer Heads graduate nobell Isias, now working on-site as a plumber, proof of what’s possible when industry and community come together to create opportunity. During the event, Colleen Krempulec, Managing Partner, Head of Sustainability & Brand at Hazelview, spoke on The Skilled Trades Gap & Why This Matters: “Canada needs more than 350,000 new skilled workers by 2033. The solution starts with awareness, education, and opportunity. The trades don’t just build homes, they build communities.” We believe building communities goes beyond bricks and mortar.
