Morrison brings more than three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of leadership and operational excellence. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the Ottawa Embassy Hotel & Suites, where he led significant renovation and operational transformation initiatives. His previous leadership roles include General Manager positions at ARC The Hotel, Touchstone Resort on Lake Muskoka, Hockley Valley Resort, and other properties across Canada. In addition to his property-level leadership, Morrison has held corporate and regional roles with prominent hospitality organizations including Sequel Hotels, Deerhurst Resort, Parkridge Lifestyle Communities, Maclab Hotels and Resorts, O’Neill Hotels and Resorts, and Carlton International Hotels. His expertise spans all key areas of hotel operations, including sales, rooms, food and beverage, catering, and guest services. A recognized industry leader, Morrison was named Ottawa Hotelier of the Year in both 2018 and 2022.
