At McCain Foods' Farm of the Future in Canada, the team is putting #RegenerativeAgriculture into action — testing new farming practices and technologies to better understand and adapt to our changing climate. 🌱 They’re working hand-in-hand with growers to evolve these practices, ensuring the resilience of both our food systems and farming communities for generations to come. 🥔🌏 As a #McDonalds supplier, we’re proud to partner with McCain Foods and support the dedicated work they’re leading to help keep #sustainability in mind. Take a quick glimpse into what this looks like, and how it touches McDonald’s French fry and hash brown production, below. 👇

Healthy soil is the foundation of resilient farms, thriving crops, and the future of French fries. 🌱    This #WorldSoilDay, we’re reaffirming the importance of soil health as it underpins our commitment to #RegenerativeAgriculture. As part of our regen ag efforts, we’re focused on implementing practices that build healthier soils across our global potato acreage. 🥔    Get your hands dirty with Cameron Ogilvie from the Soil Health Institute as he shows the difference between conventionally and regeneratively farmed soils — and how McCain, together with research partners like the Soil Health Institute, is advancing soil health across our global growing regions. #WorldSoilDay #WeAreMcCain

  • Proud to host our McDonald's partners at our Farms of the Future and show how we’re transforming the future of farming from the ground up. The work happening in our fields today is shaping a more resilient food system for tomorrow — and we’re doing it together. 🍟💛🥔 #BetterTogether #WeAreMcCain

Helping Communities Thrive: McCainers love to Chip In. At McCain Foods, giving back to the communities where we live and work is part of who we are, rooted in our ‘McCain Chips In’ program, which empowers employees to give back. On this Giving Tuesday, I'm proud to spotlight how our teams continue to show McCain’s commitment to thriving communities:   Year-to-Date Impact in North America (2025): - Over 6 million meals donated to food banks and NGOs already this year - Nearly 5000 volunteer hours logged through Chips In Recent Thriving Communities initiatives: - Donated 350 turkeys from our Othello plant to the Othello Community Food Drive - The longstanding Toy and Turkey drive in New Brunswick, supporting families in our McCain hometown for nineteen years - Giving back to Ronald McDonald House Charities in many forms – a partnership we’ve had for decades - Ongoing holiday toy drives supporting Chicagoland schools and food sorting with Second Harvest in Toronto   Beyond the numbers, these efforts recharge, connect, and inspire our teams. Thank you to everyone who Chips In to make a difference. Together, we are building stronger communities and living our values, one act of kindness at a time.  #GivingTuesday #ChipsIn #ThrivingCommunities #McCainProud #WeAreMcCain

On #GivingTuesday, we’re celebrating the meaningful impact the McCain Foods teams have made this year in the communities where we live and work. As a family-owned business, we invest locally to build resilient, thriving places for generations.   I am excited to share a few examples of impact in action:   ➡️ In Australia: Our Ballarat team dedicated 24 hours of production to Foodbank Australia, donating 81,600 meals to families facing food insecurity—our third consecutive year partnering together.   ➡️ In Argentina: we recognized 134 graduates of Sembrando Futuro, our employability program with Forge Foundation. Since 2018, the program has supported 870 young people on their path to a first formal job through training, guidance, and an active alumni network.   ➡️ In Great Britain: We’re marking two years of Community Shop Eastfield with Company Shop Group, which has supported thousands of families through affordable shopping, free kids’ meals, and skills and training programs. And on December 11, we’ll expand this impact with a new Community Shop opening in North Bransholme.   These are just a few examples of our Thriving Communities commitment—strengthening local resilience and supporting brighter futures. #GivingTuesday #WeAreMcCain

Great discussion at the McDonald's Impact Summit this week on how we can strengthen supply chains in a world that’s changing faster than ever. McDonald’s is in a unique position to convene so many different stakeholders across the food system—Franchises, Suppliers and McDonald’s, all working together to move the industry forward. One theme stood out clearly: resilience comes from both the farm and the network. Our farmers are facing real climate pressure… shorter growing windows, intense heat, flooding—all of which affect yield and reliability. That’s why McCain Foods is investing heavily in #RegenerativeAgriculture practices that make farms more stable and productive over time. Equally important is our ability to remain flexible. With a truly global production footprint, we can shift quickly, navigate regional challenges, and continue operating as a trusted, reliable partner for our customers. This flexibility is a real differentiator for McCain, and its core to how we show up for partners when it counts. Stronger farms and a more agile network: together, that’s how we build a resilient, future-ready food system. Thank you, McDonald's, for bringing us together. #McDonaldsImpactSummit Beth Hart, McDonald's, Brian Covington, Lopez Dorada, Scott Harrison, The Coca-Cola Company, Kelsey Freeman Saelens, Cargill, Andrew York, Tyson Foods, Elizabeth Horvath, Kerry.

Everyday Leadership at McCain: Safety, Quality & Customer Focus Over the past week, I had the opportunity to visit McCain Foods' manufacturing facilities in Othello, WA, Burley, ID, and Coaldale, AB, with our CEO, Max Koeune - it was nothing short of inspiring. Each stop offered a clear reminder of what sets McCain apart: our people. Every day, dedicated teams strive for excellence in safety, quality, and innovation. Customer obsession at McCain is more than talk; it's action, visible in the choices our people make each day. Seeing this level of care and forward-thinking reinforces my belief that leadership is found at every level, especially where our world-famous French fries and shareable snacks are made. At each plant visit, I witnessed team members thoughtfully solving problems, taking pride in making delicious food, and challenging the status quo for the better. From adopting AI to train new joiners, embracing the notion that a zero-accident safety record IS possible, to partnering closely with customers to make their vision of quality innovations a reality. These experiences made it clear: customer obsession can be an everyday practice, woven into decisions large and small at any McCain facility, in any role. Thank you to the Othello, Burley, and Coaldale teams for showing what’s possible when we put customers at the center of everything we do. #WeAreMcCain #PeopleFirst #Safety #ZeroIncidents #Innovation #Quality #DigitalTransformation #McCainProud
