The Open Chiplet Atlas™ (OCA) ecosystem provides open standards that enable chiplets from different vendors to work together. Our latest specification, the AXI over UCIe Protocol, lays out how non-coherent NoCs can be bridged on different UCIe-connected chiplets in an interoperable and efficient manner. Had the privilege of joining a panel last week with leaders Hezi Saar (Synopsys Inc), Cyril Cordoba (Renesas Electronics), and Paul Hughes (Arm) to discuss the future of chiplets — not just for automotive, but across all compute platforms. The panel was moderated by Stefan Singer (Renesas Electronics). One theme united us: the critical need for Open standards. As chiplet adoption accelerates, interoperability and ecosystem alignment becomes non-negotiable. It was a great conversation with shared urgency and optimism. Last week at the IMEC Automotive Chiplet Forum, I had the opportunity to present Tenstorrent’s Open Chiplet Atlas™ — our initiative to drive ecosystem-wide standardization for chiplet-based systems. Our goal is simple: define scalable profiles that power robotics, data centers, and edge platforms — anywhere chiplets unlock performance, flexibility, and cost efficiency. At Tenstorrent, our Engineers have been building chiplets for years, and now we’re working closely with partners to ensure our draft specification meets the needs of every profile. We’re proud to share a common vision with IMEC’s Automotive Chiplet Program (ACP), which is driving incredible momentum across the industry.
