Pinch me moment. I was attending to learn, and now I am attending to share too! In our session, Anna and I will explore how marketing teams can effectively embed strategic assets into their everyday marketing efforts. We’ve had a lot of fun planning our session, incorporating interactive elements and getting really practical. Being a student and a teacher in the same week, that’s what Unlock ’25 is all about for me. As the saying goes: “You don’t truly understand something until you’ve taught it to others.” In September I’ll be both speaking and learning at our parent company Volaris Group's (DeSilvester Portfolio) global learning event. What I love about the Volaris world is simple: you don’t turn up to prove what you know, you turn up to share, learn, and grow together. The culture is different here. It’s not a measuring contest. It’s humble, low-ego, and focused on progress. Conversations lean towards “what can we do better?” instead of “what are we already great at?” and for me, that’s where the magic happens. Looking forward to being part of it. Where do you learn the most: teaching, or being taught?

Before I joined Elovate, I was an AI laggard (and that's putting it mildly). I didn't understand the technology and pretty much refused to adopt it. After joining Elovate, I learned how some of my talented marketing friends Lauren Galietti and Kristine Hoy use AI tools to help automated tasks, assist in their productivity, and boost their respective org's marketing efforts. So I began to explore these tools, took the time to experiment, and now they have become part of my arsenal that I use to accomplish my daily tasks. This eventually lead to Kris and I leading a session at Volaris Group's AI summit about optimizing your marketing for generative AI engines so that your brand is being recommended by tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, AIO, etc. This wouldn't have been possible if I didn't work for an organization that embraces technology and looks for ways to use it to their advantage, and has a great network of colleagues that you can tap into for their advice and guidance.

Some of our Kinetic North America team are visiting Volaris Group’s HQ in Canada. The group is spending their time upskilling and resetting ready to finish 2025 strong, and getting ready for what promises to be a very exciting 2026! The team also had an awesome opportunity to spend a generous amount of time with Volaris CEO Mike Dufton. A real treat that reinforced that they are doing the right things to excel for our customers, and for each other. Mike also opened up a wider support network to help ensure Kinetic North America’s continued success 🚀

Volaris Group today announced the acquisition of Sportsground Ltd (Sporty) Ltd, a New Zealand-based software company focused on community and school sports management. “Sporty has evolved over the last 17 years to meet the ongoing real-life needs of schools and sports organisations,” said Sportsground Ltd CEO Mike Purchas. “I think the founder of every company would like a succession plan that helps their business succeed forever. Volaris Group today announced the acquisition of Maze Feedback AS, a Norway-based Software-as-a-Service company that offers customer experience (CX) software to retailers to turn customer feedback into actionable insights. "The acquisition of Maze Feedback AS by Volaris Group signifies an exciting new chapter for our company," says Frode Berg, Chief Executive Officer, Maze Feedback AS.
