Starlight Investments has announced the launch of the Starlight Canadian Core Multi-Family Fund, a newly established open-ended fund focused on acquiring and managing a diversified portfolio of high-quality purpose-built rental properties across Canada’s largest urban markets.      The Fund will launch with an initial cornerstone equity investment of $415 million from investment funds managed by CIBC Asset Management Inc., which will enable the Fund’s initial acquisition of $750 million of purpose-built rental apartments. This strategic partnership underscores a shared vision to provide best-in-class investment opportunities supported by strong fundamentals in the sector.     The fund’s focus is on newly built and substantially renovated purpose-built rental properties in Canada’s largest metropolitan areas including the GTA, Greater Vancouver, Greater Victoria, and other major markets.
