Wir vertrauen nach wie vor den menschlichen Fähigkeiten, allerdings werden diese heute in grossem Masse durch automatisierte Produktionsanlagen und fortgeschrittene Betriebsabläufe unterstützt. A new device for cataract surgery training in Rome, Italy! We are delighted to share news of the recent inauguration of the Eyesi Surgical Simulator, courtesy of the CESMA program at the Faculty of Medicine, The “University of Rome Tor Vergata”. Born in 2023, the CESMA (Customer Experience, Statistics, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence) center for innovation and research in the field of ophthalmological surgery and health care has become the “nerve center” for the faculty – which now incorporates the Eyesi Surgical. The recent inauguration of the Eyesi Surgical offers a state-of-the-art structure in the training of future young doctors, representing a key strategy for developing medical skills of excellence.
