Researchers from Empa, EPFL and CSEM have developed a battery- and silicon-free smart sensor tag as part of the BRIDGE Funding Programme. Based on printed conductive materials, the tag responds to changes in temperature and humidity and can be read wirelessly without the need for active electronics. 🏷️ The team is now exploring potential applications in agriculture and environmental monitoring.
