I går deltok jeg i en svært interessant og lærerik samtale om hvordan vi kan styrke samarbeidet mellom private og offentlige aktører for å nå nullvisjonen: at ingen skal omkomme i brann. Sammen med Johan Marius Ly fra DSB, Arne Stadheim i NHO Service og Handel, og Petter Vinje Svendsen fra Østre Agder Brannvesen diskuterte vi både utfordringene og mulighetene vi har – hvis vi klarer å utnytte ressursene som allerede finnes. Takk til de andre paneldeltakerne for en veldig god samtale! Som sikkerhetsaktør ser vi i Verisure daglig hvor rask respons og moderne teknologi kan redde liv og verdier. Men teknologi alene er ikke nok – vi må jobbe tettere på tvers av sektorer, dele kunnskap og koordinere innsatsen slik at vi når ut til alle, uansett hvor i landet de bor. Brannsikkerhet er et ansvar vi alle deler. Nullvisjonen handler om å bruke ressursene vi har mest mulig effektivt, og om å sikre at kunnskap og teknologi tas i bruk der behovet er størst. Vi ser frem til fortsettelsen!
