We’re incredibly proud to announce a collaboration with Pratt & Whitney, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of P&W’s collaboration with Danish industry. This agreement was sparked by Denmark’s procurement of the F-35, powered by Pratt & Whitney’s F135 engine. Now, Pratt & Whitney has chosen Empact to help drive even greater efficiency in its global deployment operations. Together, we’re building a Deployment Management Tool (DMT) that will streamline internal coordination, surface bottlenecks early, and enable smoother deployment processes. Built for scalability, this tool is designed with future Original Equipment Manufacturer use in mind. “The DMT we are developing will not only benefit Pratt & Whitney but also set a new standard in deployment management for the entire industry,” said Jacob Gliemann Larsen Director of Defense at Empact. This collaboration represents more than a single project, it’s the beginning of a long-term relationship focused on innovation and operational excellence. Certification flight testing for the GTF Hot Section Plus (HS+) is under way. The HS+ engine upgrade option – derived from GTF Advantage technology – incorporates durability improvements to nearly double time on wing for today’s GTF engine. The testing is taking place on Pratt & Whitney’s 747 flying test bed in Mirabel, Canada and marks a key step on the path to HS+ certification.
