Latinas y Niños

Women’s Residential Treatment In Spanish and English

Latinas y Niños offers women a safe, supportive environment to heal from trauma, nurture children, and begin long-term recovery.

Latinas y Niños is a 6 to 9-month residential treatment program for adult women with Substance Use (SUD) and Co-occurring Disorders (CODs), including parents who are pregnant, post-partum (within 1 year), and/or have children

under 10. We provide integrated, culturally-responsive substance use and mental health treatment and recovery support services. Our program offers family recovery plans and educational groups twice a week. The Center has 16

individual treatment beds and six family rooms.

At Latinas y Niños, we offer treatment and services for pregnant and postpartum mothers. Each patient works with staff to develop a plan to secure essential resources to sustain recovery and achieve independence, including housing, health insurance, and other benefits, education, and employment. Staff also help mothers reunify or reconnect with their children, when possible. As patients progress in their recovery, they also learn the skills needed to exchange unhealthy behaviors for healthy behaviors; establish and maintain healthy relationships, develop critical thinking skills, resolve conflicts, and manage their health.

All patients receive treatment free of charge. Latinas y Niños tailors all services to the unique needs of each individual or family we serve.
