Kriegenbrunn Lock XXL! 🤩 More than 85% of the bored piles have already been installed – a milestone for the excavation pit enclosure at the replacement construction of the Kriegenbrunn lock. 🙌 Drilling rigs of types BG 55, BG 45, and BG 39 are being used to create piles with a diameter of up to 2 m and a length of 37 m – each one precisely positioned to ensure the stability of the approximately 30 m deep excavation pit. The result: a foundation that will secure shipping traffic on the Main-Danube Canal for generations to come.
