✈️ CLS proudly supported the G7 Summit in Alberta! We’re thrilled to share that Sky Chefs joint venture partner CLS Catering Services Ltd. – Calgary (YYC) had the incredible honor of providing in-flight catering for the official aircraft of the G7 Summit, held in Kananaskis, Alberta on June 16–17. In addition to serving the G7 nations, we also extended our services to guest country aircraft from Australia, Brazil, India, Japan, Korea and Ukraine — delivering world-class hospitality from the skies. 💪 On June 17 alone, our 20,000 sq. ft. Calgary facility catered an outstanding 23 flights — a monumental achievement driven by detailed planning, seamless teamwork and tireless effort. 👏 A huge shoutout to Mathew Rajan, our General Manager, and the entire Calgary team whose dedication, coordination, and hard work made this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity such a success. 🏆 CLS Catering Services Vancouver Wins Cathay Silver Award for Best Caterer (2024) We are proud to share that CLS Catering Services Vancouver, a joint venture between LSG Sky Chefs and Cathay Pacific Airways (CX), has been recognized with the Cathay Silver Award for Best Caterer of 2024, Long-Haul and Ultra Long-Haul Routes. The Cathay Silver Award is part of their rigorous Caterers’ Performance Recognition Program (CPRP), which rates catering partners on safety, food quality, on-time performance and inventory management. Celebrating Culinary Talent in Dar-es-Salaam 🍽️🏆 At LSG Sky Chefs, food is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of culinary talent across our global network. A recent highlight comes from our Customer Service Center (CSC) in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, where our team hosted an inspiring in-house chef competition. This friendly contest was designed to ignite creativity and celebrate the skills of our rising culinary stars. Following a thrilling semi-final, five talented finalists competed in the grand finale, each preparing a starter, main course and dessert of their own creation. Judged by an esteemed panel—including Anselmo Silvestre (Angola), Dragan Unic (Kenya), Christian Fritz (Cairo) and Nick Vass, our Head of Culinary for the EMEA region—the competition showcased incredible innovation and passion.
