How can AI drive real business value? We explored this question yesterday during our extra-large AI Event, bringing together colleagues from across the organisation.   We welcomed external speakers from Eraneos, Bain & Company and LEXGEN AI to share insights on how AI is transforming customer interactions, streamlining internal processes and enhancing services such as KYC through agentic workflows and smart chatbots. Afterwards, in focused breakout sessions, colleagues discovered practical ways to apply AI within their own domains.   We also celebrated the winners of last week's internal AI Hackathon across three different categories, which was a fantastic showcase of creativity and innovation.   It was an inspiring day defined by innovation!   #ThinkYes #NIBC #Innovation #AI

Yesterday, we hosted a bank-wide AI Hackathon, all about putting the power of AI and automation directly in your hands!   Colleagues took ownership by building their own automation and AI solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio. Throughout the day, they identified opportunities for automation, developed compelling business cases, and created impactful tools to streamline work and drive innovation. Today, NIBC announces that its shareholder Blackstone has agreed to sell 100% of its shares in NIBC to ABN AMRO. The transaction marks an important milestone in NIBC’s development and provides a strong platform for its next phase of growth. Completion of the transaction is expected in the second half of 2026. Today we celebrate 80 years of NIBC! 🎉   Founded on this day in 1945 as Maatschappij tot Financiering van Nationaal Herstel, NIBC has grown and evolved over eight decades. And just like that, it’s a wrap. What a week it has been!   The NIBC Tour of Holland 2025 has officially come to an end. As proud main sponsor, we look back on a great week filled with strong teams, energetic riders and enthusiastic crowds.   The race kicked off with an evening prologue in The Hague, the city where NIBC was founded over 80 years ago. From there, the peloton made its way through various Dutch regions, finishing in Arnhem.   NIBC was part of the action every step of the way: from the fan zones and wattbike challenges to our name, colours and logo lining the route. Today marked the official start of the NIBC Tour of Holland with the prologue in Zuiderpark, The Hague. The opening ceremony featured cycling icons including race director Roxane Knetemann and Michael Boogerd, setting the stage for a thrilling week of racing across the country.   As proud main sponsor of this event, we are thrilled with how the day unfolded!
