Was entsteht, wenn man echtes Handwerk, ehrliche Leidenschaft und eine Kamera mit Blick fürs Wesentliche zusammenbringt? Eine Ausstellung, die unter die Haut geht – und in der auch wir von Niessing ein flammendes Kapitel erzählen dürfen. Niessing in der Ausstellung „Mission Machen“ Gestern durften wir bei der Eröffnung der Ausstellung „Mission Machen – Neue Perspektiven auf das westfälische Handwerk“ im LWL-Freilichtmuseum Hagen dabei sein – und wir sind begeistert! Mit ihrer Kamera und viel Feingefühl hat Fotografin Tuula Kainulainen über zweieinhalb Jahre das Handwerk in Westfalen-Lippe dokumentiert – und dabei auch uns in der Schmuckmanufaktur Niessing besucht. Unsere Goldschmied*innen, unsere Werkstätten, unser Feuer – all das wurde in kraftvollen Bildern eingefangen, die zeigen, was uns ausmacht: Die Leidenschaft für echte Handwerkskunst, das Arbeiten mit Feuer, Edelmetall und Emotion – und unser tiefes Bekenntnis zu Nachhaltigkeit. Direkt daneben: die kraftvolle „Goldbarren“-Installation – eine Hommage an das edle Material, mit dem wir jeden Tag gestalten. Handwerk wird hier nicht nur gezeigt, sondern spürbar gemacht. Niessing ist Teil dieser Ausstellung – und steht für ein Handwerk, das mit glühendem Herzen und brennender Leidenschaft gelebt wird. Der begleitende Bildband mit 270 eindrucksvollen Fotografien ist direkt im Museumsshop erhältlich – ein visuelles Erlebnis für alle, die Handwerk lieben. Mission Machen – noch bis 31.
