In this study, our team demonstrates how compact hand-held Raman spectrometers can rapidly and non-invasively differentiate cannabis chemotypes directly from plant leaves. By combining Raman measurements with chemometric models, we achieved 90% classification accuracy with an 830 nm excitation device.
