Yesterday, Skypuzzler’s CEO, Jesper Skou, discussed the new proposed rule on BVLOS flights released by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with Vincent Lambercy from Global Airspace Radar. Jesper Skou noted that the proposed rule mentions ‘deconfliction’ 115 times, a clear sign of its importance. Skypuzzler’s integrated Digital Air Traffic Control (iDATC) focuses solely on advanced Conflict Resolution Services (CRS), including advanced strategic deconfliction and reactive conformance monitoring, factoring in drone priorities and performance to deliver the most efficient solutions. As Jesper Skou notes, ‘routine’ means multiple drone operators sharing airspace with manned traffic; this is something Skypuzzler can already enable today for both UTM and fleet management. It was a pleasure to meet the Latin American Airport Delegation this week in Copenhagen at Digital Hub Denmark, with representatives from Aerocivil (Colombia), Bogotá, San José, Panamá, and the Airports Council International - Latin America and Caribbean - ACI LAC.
