CHP was established in 1965 under the name of Canal Harbor Works co. CHP has carried out and rehabilitated important ports along the coast of Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea The company has worked jointly with foreign companies in some projects CHP participates in the implementation of many national mega projects, such as project of developing the port of Ain Sokhna, The high speed electric train, Haya Karima project, As well as dredging lakes Manzala, Mariout, Bardawil, Dredging ports Gargoub, Alexandria, Arish and the Nile river dredging works.
