We’re driving Spain’s electric future! 🚗   Two years ago, we started building a key milestone on our journey towards electrification: a battery assembly plant that will power the first electric cars ever produced at our factory, the CUPRA Raval and Volkswagen ID.Polo. 💪   Today, our Workshop 20 is about to become a reality. ✅   Every battery produced here brings Spain closer to electric wheels. We welcome André Kleb as Chief Production Officer for the Iberian Peninsula.   In this newly created role, effective January 2026, he will lead the Production and Logistics area in the Iberian Peninsula from Martorell, which includes not only Martorell but also the plants in Barcelona, Pamplona and Palmela.   Kleb will report to both Markus Haupt, CEO of SEAT & CUPRA, and Christian Vollmer, Board Member of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand responsible for Production and Logistics.   📢 Markus Haupt: “Efficient collaboration between the Brand Group Core production centers is key. Much of the success of the Electric Urban Car Family project, which we have led, is thanks to this close relationship”.   We’re also proud to see Anabel Andion Lomero, former Head of the Pre-Series Center at SEAT & CUPRA, take on a new challenge as Managing Director and Plant Manager of Volkswagen Autoeuropa in Portugal.   This new cross-brand governance model will unlock further synergies and set the pace for the future of automotive production. We are proud to be part of it and ready to take on the challenges ahead. 💪

He will spearhead the company’s strategic roadmap, ensuring we are positioned to seize new opportunities and navigate the challenges ahead.    👉 Arantxa Alonso Fernández steps into the role of Global Corporate Quality Director.
