These fluorescent probes enabled single-molecule visualization of endogenous GLP-1R/GIPR targets, revealing distinct nanodomain organization in pancreatic islets and circumventricular brain regions, the features not accessible to single agonists. This study marks a significant step forward in understanding how dual agonist therapies for type 2 diabetes and obesity achieve superior efficacy by uncovering receptor distribution and organization at unprecedented resolution.
