You'll dig into architectures, hunt for the next wave of tech before anyone else sees it, and build tools that make us faster and smarter. The fit: Top-tier engineering degree and you can hold your own in a conversation with a CTO. 0-2 years experience. ‣ VC Associate - Digital Venture Team You know the European tech ecosystem. You'll hunt deals, run due diligence, write the memos that get deals done, and work with founders building category-defining companies. ⎼ The fit: 2-4 years in VC, startups, or consulting. You already have a network. You know how cap tables work. You can spot what matters in a pitch. ‣ Investor Relations Intern You'll work with the people who fund us (institutional investors, family offices). You'll manage data, support fundraising, and help roll out our new LP platform. The fit: Strong communicator. Excel/PowerPoint fluent. Detail-oriented. We’re delighted to share that Alexis Frentz is joining the Elaia partnership. After nine years with the Digital Venture (DV) team, Alexis brings a track record backing intelligent systems across AI, data, cybersecurity and robotics — Dexory, HarfangLab, Descartes & Mauss among them. European tech is at a turning point. Deep engineering, AI-native products and industrial ambition are converging. The next wave of category-defining companies will need partners who understand both the technology and the business, who can work with founders from day one through the complexities of building at scale. Alexis brings exactly that. His engineering background and strategic mindset have been central to developing Elaia's DV investment strategy. He's also deeply embedded in the ecosystem, teaching about VC at École Polytechnique and France Invest. This promotion recognizes the value he brings as both dealmaker and team member. As Partner, he'll keep backing the next generation of disruptive European tech founders and help Elaia maintain a leading position in the field.

We’re proud to co-lead the €20.7M Seed round of Enodia Therapeutics, alongside Pfizer Ventures and Bpifrance. Enodia is building a small-molecule platform with machine learning for targeted protein degradation that intervenes at the earliest stage of protein biogenesis. Through selective modulation of the SEC61 translocon, the platform enables precise control over the secretion of disease-driving proteins, unlocking a wide range of previously inaccessible targets while preserving core physiological processes. Built on Institut Pasteur science and driven by a highly experienced team, Enodia combines rational drug design with a scalable discovery engine capable of generating multiple differentiated therapeutic programs. We are excited to support Enodia as it advances its lead program toward preclinical candidate selection and builds a long-term pipeline with significant partnering potential. Congrats to the team! AI isn’t just a compute challenge anymore, it’s an energy one. Last week at SISTA’s 5th anniversary party, SISTA awarded Elaia as the fund that has invested the most in startups founded by women. A meaningful recognition in a context where, according to the SISTAxBCG 2025 barometer, startups founded by mixed or all-female teams still account for only 11% of total funds raised.
