Black For Good: giving meaning to every purchase Since 2019, over 180 brands have joined the Black For Good movement, which we launched from the very beginning of Typology. Every year, brands gather through this movement to give meaning to our purchases and turn Black Friday, the busiest shopping weekend of the year, into a moment of solidarity. From today until Monday, December 1, 2025, Typology will donate €1 per order placed on www.typology.com to Générations Futures, an environmental protection association founded in 1996 to raise awareness about the dangers of chemical pollutants, especially pesticides, and to take action through investigations, campaigns, and legal initiatives to protect health and the environment. Since launching my first ventures, I’ve always believed entrepreneurship should serve a bigger mission: rethinking the way we consume.🌍 That’s why since the very early days of Typology, we created #BlackForGood, to turn Black Friday, the most frenzied shopping day of the year, into an opportunity of raising funding for charities. So in addition to a deal hunting weekend, Black Friday can also become a moment of responsibility and positive impact . For 7 years now, #BlackForGood has challenged the symbol of overconsumption, and hundreds of brands have since joined the collective and raised fundings for different charities. Last year alone, Typology raised 32,000€ over the Black Friday weekend for NGO Wings of the Ocean, and we are only one of the over 100 brands of the collective (each of the brand would choose the cause that is dear to them) In just 60 days, Black Friday will be here This year, we’re inviting again every brand, big or small, to be part of this collective shift.
