Η ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος στήριξης φοιτητών της AEGEAN, «Κοντά στους Νέους», πριν από λίγους μήνες, καθώς και το αποτύπωμα που άφησε στην κοινωνία, μας γεμίζουν με χαρά, ενθουσιασμό και δέσμευση για την περαιτέρω στήριξη της νέας γενιάς. Η AEGEAN, ως διαχρονικός υποστηρικτής πρωτοβουλιών που προάγουν την εκπαίδευση και στηρίζουν τους νέους, είχε την ευκαιρία, μέσω του προγράμματος «Κοντά στους Νέους» από το 2013, να στηρίξει νέους φοιτητές από οικογένειες με περιορισμένο εισόδημα, βοηθώντας τους να ακολουθήσουν τα όνειρά τους και να φοιτήσουν σε ανώτατα ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα της Ελλάδας. Το πρόγραμμα πρόσφερε περισσότερα από 55.700 εισιτήρια και στήριξε 1.600 φοιτητές για 6 συνεχόμενα ακαδημαϊκά έτη, καλύπτοντας συνολικά 10 χρόνια, έως την αποφοίτηση των τελευταίων δικαιούχων την προηγούμενη ακαδημαϊκή χρονιά, οπότε και ολοκληρώθηκε ο κύκλος προσφοράς του. Η AEGEAN συνεχίζει να επενδύει στο μέλλον της χώρας στηρίζοντας την εκπαίδευση, την καινοτομία και την επαγγελματική ανάπτυξη της νέας γενιάς. The completion of AEGEAN’s student support program, "Supporting the Youth", a few months ago, as well as the impact it left on society, fills us with joy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to further support the new generation. AEGEAN, as a long-standing supporter of initiatives that promote education and support young people, had the opportunity, through the "Supporting the Youth” program since 2013, to assist young students from low-income families, helping them pursue their dreams and attend higher education institutions in Greece. The program provided more than 55,700 tickets and supported 1,600 students over 6 consecutive academic years, covering a total of 10 years until the graduation of the last beneficiaries in the previous academic year, when the cycle of its contribution was completed. AEGEAN continues to invest in the future of the country by supporting education, innovation, and professional development of the new generation.

Η AEGEAN στηρίζει έμπρακτα τη νέα γενιά και στο πλαίσιο της εποικοδομητικής συνεργασίας με το Athens University of Economics and Business, επενδύει σταθερά σε πρωτοβουλίες που ενισχύουν τις δεξιότητες του μέλλοντος. Έτσι, για ακόμα μια χρονιά, είχαμε τη χαρά να φιλοξενήσουμε καθηγητές και φοιτητές του μεταπτυχιακού προγράμματος MSc in Management Science & Technology, AUEB - Μεταπτυχιακό στη Διοικητική Επιστήμη & Τεχνολογία,ΟΠΑ στις νέες σύγχρονες εγκαταστάσεις συντήρησης και εκπαίδευσης της εταιρείας. Οι φοιτητές που κατά τη διάρκεια του προηγούμενου εξαμήνου εργάσθηκαν με πραγματικά δεδομένα για συγκεκριμένες δραστηριότητες της AEGEAN, στο πλαίσιο μαθημάτων, για τα οποία εκπόνησαν έρευνα και εργασία, παρουσίασαν τη δουλειά τους στους καθηγητές τους και σε στελέχη της εταιρείας από το HR και από τους τομείς του Digital & Marketing και Revenue & Offer Management. Μέσα από αυτή τη διαδικασία, οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν καλύτερα την εταιρεία, να παρουσιάσουν τις ιδέες τους και να λάβουν εποικοδομητική ανατροφοδότηση για τη μεθοδολογία, την ανάλυση και την προσέγγιση που ακολούθησαν.  Η συνεργασία αυτή ενισχύει τον στόχο μας να καλλιεργούμε την καινοτόμο και δημιουργική σκέψη, ενθαρρύνοντας τη νέα γενιά επαγγελματιών που θα διαμορφώσει το αύριο του επιχειρηματικού κόσμου. Over the previous semester, as part of their academic curriculum, students worked with real AEGEAN operational data on specific business activities, conducting in-depth research and developing targeted projects. They presented their findings to their professors and to AEGEAN executives from HR, Digital & Marketing, and Revenue & Offer Management. This exchange offered participants valuable insight into the company’s operations, an opportunity to showcase their ideas, and constructive feedback on their methodology, analysis, and overall approach. This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering innovation and creative thinking, while empowering the next generation of professionals who will shape the business world of tomorrow. Χθες είχαμε τη χαρά να μεταφέρουμε έναν εκλεκτό και ιδιαίτερο «επιβάτη», το νανοδορυφόρο, MICE-1. Το ταξίδι του ξεκίνησε από την Αλεξανδρούπολη, όπου και δημιουργήθηκε από την Prisma Electronics, προσγειώθηκε στην Αθήνα και αναχώρησε για το Βερολίνο, απ’ όπου και θα ταξιδέψει με τελικό προορισμό την Αμερική για να εκτοξευτεί στο διάστημα στα μέσα Οκτωβρίου. Η αποστολή του MICE-1 υλοποιείται στο πλαίσιο του Εθνικού Προγράμματος Μικροδορυφόρων του Υπουργείου Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης, υπό την εποπτεία του Ευρωπαϊκού Οργανισμού Διαστήματος (ESA), και σε στενή συνεργασία με το Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης. Όλοι εμείς στην AEGEAN χαιρόμαστε να μεταφέρουμε τις καινοτόμες ιδέες της χώρας μας που ξεπερνούν ακόμα και τα σύνορα της γης.  Yesterday, we had the pleasure of transporting a distinguished and unique “passenger”, the nanosatellite MICE-1. Its journey began in Alexandroupoli, where it was developed by Prisma Electronics. From there, it traveled to Athens and continued on to Berlin, before heading to its final destination in the United States, where it will be launched into space in mid-October. The MICE-1 mission is part of the National Microsatellite Program of the Ministry of Digital Governance, under the supervision of the European Space Agency (ESA), and in close collaboration with the Democritus University of Thrace. All of us at AEGEAN are proud to transport Greece’s innovative ideas that that go beyond borders, and even beyond Earth.

Με υπερηφάνεια και συγκίνηση, η οικογένεια της AEGEAN αποχαιρέτησε πριν λίγες ημέρες τον Captain Φιλοκτήτη Αυγουστινάκη που πραγματοποίησε την τελευταία του πτήση πριν τη συνταξιοδότησή του. Για περισσότερα από 46 χρόνια, από τα οποία τα 12 τελευταία στην AEGEAN, συνέδεε ανθρώπους και προορισμούς με ασφάλεια και επαγγελματισμό, αφήνοντας πίσω του σημαντική παρακαταθήκη για τις επόμενες γενιές πιλότων της εταιρείας. Συνοδευόμενος από την οικογένειά του στην τελευταία του πτήση, ευχαρίστησε με ένα συγκινητικό μήνυμα την AEGEAN, τους ανθρώπους της και όλους εκείνους που τον εμπιστεύτηκαν σε κάθε του ταξίδι όλα αυτά τα χρόνια.     With great pride and emotion, the AEGEAN family recently bid farewell to Captain Filoktitis Avgoustinakis, who completed his final flight before retirement. For over 46 years, including the last 12 with AEGEAN, he connected people and places with unwavering professionalism and a deep commitment to safety, leaving behind a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire the next generations of the company's pilots. Accompanied by his family on his final flight, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to AEGEAN, its team, and all those who entrusted him throughout his long career.

Η εμπιστοσύνη τους και η στήριξή τους αποτελεί κινητήριος δύναμη για όλα μας τα βήματα, μικρά και μεγάλα.
