Dozens of senior executives from Israel’s defense industries and security ecosystem - graduates and participants of the “Future CEOs” program led by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in collaboration with Supersonas - came together for a day dedicated to inspiration, connection and collaboration. We were honored to host Michal Herzog, the First Lady of Israel, together with Adv. Adi Hersztadt, EVP & General Counsel at IAI and Pazit Kalir, CEO of Supersonas, for an empowering panel discussion on leadership journeys, overcoming challenges and breaking barriers. It’s not every day that a new aircraft is announced- but today is one of those days! ✈️ Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and U.S. defense and aerospace company L3Harris Technologies have signed a strategic MoU agreement to jointly pursue the Israeli Light-Attack Aircraft program with L3Harris’ Sky Warden™ aircraft by developing a unique Israeli configuration called Blue Sky Warden. The aircraft will include an IAI mission computer to host Israeli-specific software and special capabilities. IAI will also lead the flight tests and airworthiness campaigns with the Ministry of Defense and the Israeli Air Force. This significant collaboration enables us to offer a precise operational solution to Israel’s defense needs. Sky Warden is L3Harris’ designation for the commercial version of the OA-1K Skyraider II aircraft, which the company is producing and delivering to the U.S. Special Operations Command as part of the Skyraider II program.

Today, at the AUSA exhibition in the United States, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) unveiled the UAV for the first time - a new and advanced generation of the ThunderB, developed by BlueBird Aero Systems, an #IAI subsidiary.
 The system will be produced in collaboration with the U.S. company AEVEX Aerospace for the U.S. Army.

After two years of fighting that began on that horrific morning of October 7, we awoke today to wonderful and heartwarming news: the hostages who have been in our thoughts every moment and in every action, are finally returning home to their families. The employees of IAI, together with the entire people of Israel, eagerly await their return, embrace them and their families, and pray for the end of the war. Israel Aerospace Industries, which mobilized on that dreadful morning for a powerful operation both on the front lines and the home front, has made a significant contribution to the defense of the State of Israel and worked tirelessly toward the return of the hostages from Gaza. Today, we share a message of gratitude and joy, comfort and hope, with all the citizens of Israel, and especially with the IAI employees whose loved ones are finally coming home. We send our best wishes for a swift and complete recovery to all who are wounded in body and spirit, bow our heads in memory of the bravery of the fallen, and extend our strength to the families who have lost their dearest ones. Over the past two years, we have come to know the resilience of the Israeli peopl; their willingness to volunteer, to stand up for one another, and to mobilize for the community. During this time, we also learned that “truth” is not always universal, and that nothing stands above the imperative to survive and prevail. We have learned to recognize and appreciate the power of IAI and its employees, who worked day and night to enable Israel’s defense forces to protect our country from unprecedented missile attacks, to reach their operational targets, remain above them, and return safely. IAI’s systems made this possible- in space, in the air, at sea, and on land, without compromise. On this morning, it is fitting that the entire world should know: the blood of Israel’s citizens is not forfeit. Our enemies ought to know that our long arm will pursue and reach them. The citizens of Israel ought to know that the fate of their sons and daughters rests in the hands of worthy commanders, leaders who have transformed a moment of immense failure into broad defense, and from there into a powerful and far-reaching offensive.
