Here's a short list of projects we'd like people to start via the T4P incubator (or if you're already doing these, we can support you)! # Document Israeli assets in Tech Unit 8200 members, and other members of the IDF, are often in important positions in US and European tech companies. Document this, and making it well known that these are actually Israeli assets (in the spy novel sense), making decisions about the lives and technologies of American and European people. # Single convincing page about Palestine Does a single page exist that someone unfamiliar with Palestine could use to immediately become radicalized? Many wonderful resources such a decolonizepalestine or Visualizing Palestine exist, but is there currently a page that is perfectly concise and convincing that in a few minutes someone could become convinced. The BDS Brief Background is good at it. Graphics involving the destroyed rubble of Gaza, or Israeli settler or soldier violence and murder, perhaps corpses juxtaposed against a vibrant Gaza. This involves significant experimentation, research and testing using individuals. The impact of this piece is something that could be effectively used throughout the movement. # Site optimization for Palestinian websites A number of different websites from our partners are very very slow, or are poorly optimized for retention, donations, or other calls to action. We’d like you to set up a team to help them. # Palestine daily news Media bias is out of control in America and the west, and news in America is fully pro-Israel. As a result, we should look for other avenues to ensure that the Palestinian struggle is top of mind. Build a team to both publish daily news from international media (perhaps leveraging FMEP’s weekly news resources) touching on Palestine and related issues, as well as disseminated the news by printing it out and handing out fliers at large foot traffic areas, such as metro/subway stations, football games, malls, etc. # Investigate and shut down illegal 501c3s Palestinian land for settlements are sold openly in the US and Canada, despite being a violation of international law. Our posts about ivrit.ai are usually (surprise surprise) written in Hebrew. Today, we're making an exception to accomodate our global viewers as we share our experience with the ElevenLabs' scribe-v1 Speech-to-Text model. As most of you know, we maintain a Hebrew Transcription leaderboard on Huggingface (link in first comment). This was needed as fleurs and common-voice are low-quality datasets with regards to Hebrew. When ElevenLabs launched scribe_v1, we were eager to try it out. The initial results were a mixed bag: some benchmarks where scribe_v1 provides best-in-class results, others where it fumbles significantly. Our analysis mostly hints at issues with long-form transcriptions, where it simply "drops" large parts of the text after 1-2 minutes. We had a quick discussion about this with ElevenLabs support, but the end result is still subpar performance on Hebrew transcription, and we suspect this may be true for other low-resource languages. We think scribe_v1's technology is best-in-class, and are hoping to work together with the ElevenLabs team to fix this. So, if anyone at EL wants to chime in and make this happen (Mati Staniszewski Piotr Dabkowski :)), please reach out to us. We believe this might make scribe_v1 much better at not just Hebrew, so it might be worth your time. Our benchmarks are open, we're a non-profit, and in the last few weeks we open-sourced >5000 hours of speech with high-quality transcriptions. MetalBear, an Israeli startup that created the open-source Kubernetes tool mirrord, has raised $12.5 million in Seed funding. The company aims to solve a major challenge in software development: testing code in realistic cloud environments. The funding round was led by TLV Partners and included investments from TQ Ventures, MTF, Netz Capital, and angel investors such as Sentry co-founder David Cramer and OpenTelemetry co-creator Ben Sigelman. I added the new Israeli Proptech startup landscape by TLV Partners to my 2025 collection on VC Cafe. There are over 200+ Israeli startups operating in the proptech sector (including a number of unicorns). The new crop of AI-first startups are penetrating every layer of the tech stack - from elevating the tenant experience and enabling predictive maintenance, to construction site monitoring and delivering AI-driven infrastructure insights.
