𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 53 farmers from Osarvira village in Palghar district of #Maharashtra, participated in a specialized training session held at 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐕𝐢𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 (KVK), Dahanu. The training was organized as part of the Lupin Human Welfare & Research Foundation’s (LHWRF) ongoing Horticulture Development Project, which aims to improve farming practices and enhance livelihoods through scientific and sustainable approaches. The session focused on aftercare plantation activities, an important aspect of ensuring higher survival rates of saplings and long-term productivity of orchards. Farmers were trained on best practices such as proper irrigation techniques, mulching, soil nutrition management, pest and disease control, and pruning methods. The experts at KVK also emphasized the importance of timely interventions to protect young plants and promote healthy growth.
