Natasha Malpani, former partner at Kae Capital, has launched Boundless Ventures, a ₹200 crore early-stage fund focused on AI-native startups from India. The fund will invest at pre-seed and seed stages, targeting consumer AI applications, infrastructure, agent tooling, healthcare, logistics, and Make-in-India AI hardware. Backed by Malpani’s personal network, Boundless has already made six investments, including Superhealth, Armatrix, PierSight, Knot, and two stealth AI ventures. Apart from capital, the fund will support founders with storytelling, market access, and network building. “Founders who combine technical depth with cultural fluency will set the terms of the next wave. Healthcare-focussed institute and online certification provider, Virohan, is raising Rs 60-70 crore or roughly around $7-8 million in a fresh funding round from Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), sources have told IndianStartupNews (ISN). This largely marks the return of edtech funding in the Indian ecosystem which was otherwise considered to be fraught with risk, thanks to giants like Byju’s and Unacademy struggling to stay afloat and reducing in size from their peak valuations in 2021. “Virohan however stands out, it is very close to finalising the round and will be valued at around $70-80 million as 10% is being diluted so BVP can come onboard,” a source tells. Healthtech startup Pristyn Care reported a net loss of INR 381 Cr in the financial year 2023-24 (FY24), down a negligible 0.42% from INR 382.6 Cr in the previous fiscal year. 🔸 The startup’s loss was flat despite a strong growth in its top line.
