Weaving the Future

概要

Woven by Toyota exists to accelerate Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation from a car company into a mobility company. Rooted in a legacy of reinvention, we carry forward a singular founding principle: to innovate for the benefit of others. Today, we are driving this transformation from two vantage points: redefining how vehicles are built, experienced, and connected to the world to realize a true software-defined vehicle, and reimagining how people, goods, information, and energy move and interact in society to empower individuals from all walks of life. Through these two lenses, we combine bold innovation with real-world execution, bridging the gap between present and future to help Toyota evolve its business and its role in society.

On International Persons with Disabilities Day, building the future of mobility means ensuring it is accessible to everyone. At Woven by Toyota, Disability Awareness initiatives recently invited team members to gain new perspectives through hands-on workshops focused on hearing and visual impairments, including non-verbal communication exercises and immersive learning experiences. The goal was simple but powerful: to foster deeper understanding, strengthen empathy, and remind us that inclusivity starts with awareness. What we design, build, and create should reflect the diversity of the people who use it.

  • Safety isn’t a feature tier. It’s the mission. Last month, Woven by Toyota’s Dushyant Wadivkar joined industry leaders at the American Automotive Summit to discuss how data-driven AD/ADAS technology is accelerating Toyota’s path toward a zero-accident future. He emphasized moving beyond autonomy-level debates and siloed robotaxi vs. personal vehicle perspectives toward a holistic view of safety; one that delivers meaningful protection at scale today through advanced driver assistance, while responsibly developing autonomy to expand safety breakthroughs in the future. At Woven by Toyota, we're combining near-term impact and long-term innovation, ensuring mobility and safety evolve together through software, data, and purposeful deployment.
