No more overloaded shoulders and backs?
Thank you for sharing Florian, our high frequency lifter has been helping operators globally for over 25 years, not only reducing the risk of injury but also allowing workforce flexibility, NOW.... adding a powered safe operator platform, powered conveyor with an 80kg capacity along with many other features we feel we have a game changer on our hands!!! its also Mobile !!
Undoubtedly an interesting product but hardly comparing apples to apples... There is a lot of 'waste' in the manual process which might lead to a wrong conclusion in the table at the end: - In both processes a conveyor is used so why add one extra operator in the manual process? As the video shows this creates a bottleneck (full conveyor). - In the manual process the operators are often seen at idle which is not the case with the unloader. The unloader in itself will not solve such process issues. - The cost to unload a container in the table does not account for the cost of the equipment. My take: - Regardless if you're stacking manually or with a vacuum, the conveyor essentially forces you to handle every box twice before being stacked on the pallet. Pure waste! Bring the empty pallet in the container instead if you don’t need to do extensive sorting. - Either automate the entire process or go for a manual solution with sufficient eye for ergonomics.
Amazing this would save cost for an organization and reduce the Ergonomic risk of musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace.
A great solution for the logistics industry!
Old but gold Florian Palatini
Very interesting
Very practical tech! Probably still too much variation / randomness to fully automate for now. Optimus is only still sorting litte colored blocks :-)
Hi Florian Palatini, that's impressive. 👍
Yes! Worker assist semi-automated tool ... real productivity, not "autonomous" AI driven nonsense! Can now be value engineered and simplified so that every dock has one of these just as they have a pallet jack!
