Title: Senior Automation Engineer - Speciality Chemical Manufacturing
Location: Salisbury, North Carolina (Relocation offered)
Package: $150,000-$170,000 base salary, 10% bonus and additional benefits.
Company Overview
Irving Knight are partnered with a $2BN international speciality chemical manufacturing organisation based in North Carolina. The role will focus on installing, maintaining and repairing control systems while also servicing cable, heat, and exhaust systems in water and wastewater treatment plants and manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Identify capital and revenue investment requirements in relation to the EC&I equipment and systems installed within the site to ensure safety, equipment fit-for-purpose, energy efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Perform installation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of electrical systems and components, such as generators, PLCs, electric motors, motor control centers, flow instrumentation, alarm and telemetry equipment, heating and ventilation systems, conduits, cabling, and relays.
Scope, Specify & Produce detailed design packages to facilitate installation by contract personnel, including: Instrument & Systems, Functional Safety Installations, Low Voltage Electrical Installations.
Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years experience within control systems/ automation engineering plant experience.
Experience of Control Systems such as Rockwell, Allan Bradley & SCADA Systems advantageous.
Experience: 1+ years experience within chemical manufacturing or speciality chemical manufacturing experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degrees.
