A Dream come true 🚀 A Historic Achievement for Brazil’s #EnergyIndustry!   On Thursday, August 14, the FPSO Almirante Tamandaré, #Brazil’s largest floating production unit, reached a remarkable milestone: 225,000 barrels of oil per day - the highest production ever recorded by an oil platform or vessel in the country’s history. Even more impressively, the #FPSO, which began operations in February 2025, achieved its nameplate production capacity three months ahead of schedule, originally forecast for November 2025. This outstanding accomplishment reflects a strength of collaboration, engineering excellence, and operational efficiency. 🚀 SBM Offshore & Ambipar Transform Cargo Oil Tank Cleaning! We’re excited to announce a major leap forward in #FPSO operations. In collaboration with #Ambipar, SBM Offshore has successfully implemented a remotely operated robotic solution for Cargo Oil Tank (COT) cleaning.   Traditionally, COT cleaning exposed workers to significant risks—confined spaces, hazardous chemicals, and heat stress. Our new approach means NO personnel need to enter the tank during cleaning. By harnessing advanced robotics, we’ve dramatically improved worker safety and efficiency, reducing cleaning time and mitigating operational hazards.   This pioneering method was first deployed #offshore in an operational FPSO, with teams working seamlessly in two shifts to ensure round-the-clock progress. This is more than an improvement; it’s a new industry standard. 🎉 Milestone Achieved: FPSO Jaguar Enters Drydock in #Singapore We’re proud to share that SBM Offshore’s fifth FPSO for #Guyana, the FPSO Jaguar, has successfully entered drydock at the #Seatrium yard in Singapore — a major step forward in this world-class project. With topsides construction progressing on schedule, the next key milestones include the installation of the mooring structures and riser balcony. Built for ExxonMobil Guyana Limited, the #FPSOJaguar is part of the #Whiptail development, the sixth project within the prolific Stabroek Block, located approximately 200 km offshore Guyana. 🛢️ The #FPSO Jaguar is designed: ✅ to produce ~250,000 barrels of oil per day ✅ store up to 2 million barrels of crude oil ✅ to be spread-moored at ~1,630 meters water depth The design is based on #SBMOffshore’s industry leading #Fast4Ward® program, reinforcing our commitment to standardized, efficient, and sustainable offshore production solutions.
