On Day 3 of the Independent Investigative Panel, our team dove deeper into Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Inmates. We analyzed the impact of vocational training, education programs, and post-release mechanisms in preventing recidivism. Our focus was on fostering partnerships between government, private, and voluntary agencies to support inmates and ex-inmates. Adeniji Ismail Aderibigbe emphasized the importance of seamless Public-Private Partnerships for effective reformation and reintegration. Commemorating Nelson Mandela Day: The Power of Education As we honor the legacy of Nelson Mandela, let's reflect on the transformative power of education: 1️⃣ "Prisons are dehumanizing spaces, but education is deeply humanizing." Education restores dignity and empowers individuals. 2️⃣ "Prisons are places of stigmatization but education is deeply transformative." Education breaks barriers and opens doors to new possibilities. 3️⃣ "Prison is an isolation center but education is community building." Education connects people, fosters understanding, and builds bridges. Let's continue Mandela's work by promoting education, empathy, and understanding. Together, we can create a more just and compassionate society. #NelsonMandelaDay #EducationForAll #TransformativePower #inmateseducationalfoundation
