Over the past year, we’ve collaborated closely with Euro Pool Group and the other divisions LPR - La Palette Rouge and Stack&Track to define near-term climate targets, which have now been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). 💚 This validation confirms our ambition towards 2030, supporting significant reductions across scopes 1, 2 and 3 in line with the Paris Agreement. It also strengthens the scientific backbone of our sustainability strategy, ensuring transparency, credibility and long-term impact. For us, these targets are more than numbers. Together with members of Reusable Packaging Europe (RPE), we discussed how reusable packaging drives both sustainability and competitiveness across Europe. “Circularity has always been at the heart of our strategy and business. ☀️ Update: summer season doesn’t mean slow season at EPS. Our service centre in Barendrecht, The Netherlands set a new record: 1.47 million trays washed in a single week! We’re very proud of this achievement, and thanks to our cooperation with The Greenery and other partners, we’re able to increase efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards. RECORD | In week 30 brak de klapkratfustwasserij van The Greenery een record: maar liefst 1,47 miljoen klapkratkratten werden gewassen en er werd een OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) behaald van boven de 87,0% – resultaten die sinds de opstart in 2017 niet eerder zijn behaald. Ook in week 31 wist het team deze prestatie te evenaren. Volgens manager productie fustwasserij Gerta Angelika Ryfinska is dit geen toeval, maar het resultaat van een sterke combinatie van teamwork, stabiele planning en een goede samenwerking met alle betrokken partners. Van de inzet van eigen medewerkers op de werkvloer tot de mobiele techniekers van EPS - Euro Pool System die hielpen om technische uitdagingen het hoofd te bieden, van de tijdige en zorgvuldige vakantieplanning met uitzendpartners Kobus Personeel en Organisatie en BTLwerk - our people, key to excellence tot de wekelijkse ondersteuning van de technische dienst van het RDC. Ook de logistieke afdeling speelde een belangrijke rol door continu voldoende kratten aan te leveren wat bijdroeg aan de continuïteit. Het team is vanzelfsprekend erg trots op deze mijlpaal.
