✅Proud to share the successful renewal of the hybrid pitch at the home of Scottish Rugby, Murrayfield Stadium !   The original GrassMaster Solutions surface, installed in 2014, performed exceptionally right through to 2025. This year, we delivered a full pitch reconstruction in two carefully planned phases, timed around a busy summer concert schedule to keep the stadium fully operational. 1️⃣Phase one saw us remove and replace the full rootzone, extract the original fibres, widen the pitch by seven metres, and extend the undersoil heating, all completed ahead of concerts from Robbie Williams and Oasis.   2️⃣In phase two, we re-levelled and seeded the surface, refreshed the surrounds, and installed over 10,000 m² of new hybrid GrassMaster using our latest low-ground-pressure #Gen5 machines, working day and night to maintain perfect levels. All material was transported to Oss (NL) for sorting and recycling, reinforcing our commitment to circularity and responsible construction.   A fantastic team effort and a brilliant result for an iconic venue. Whitgift School #Football Pitch Upgrade ⚽️   Following the success of the rugby pitch and training area installed in 2021, Tarkett Sports | Europe returned to Whitgift School to upgrade the full-size football pitch with our GrassMaster Solutions hybrid technology, enhancing playability, increasing hours of use, and preventing fixture disruption.   This project was delivered in partnership with White Horse Contractors, with special thanks to Colin McBeth and Thomas Alcock, for their excellent construction work that provided the perfect base for stitching.   Key highlights: ✅ 185 mm deep stitching into young grass ✅ On time, on budget, and on schedule ✅ Exceptional installation quality   To meet local planning restrictions, the works were completed using #GenS machines operating on day shifts only, powered by our own mobile generators, ensuring precision even around the slopes and banks at the pitch edges.   A sincere thank you to White Horse Contractors for their collaboration and professionalism throughout this project.   #GrassMaster #HybridGrass #SportsPitch #WhitgiftSchool #TarkettSports #EmpoweringAllChampions   Siôn Bennett

🏉 A new chapter at The Twickenham Stoop Stadium in London, UK !   Tarkett Sports | Europe is proud to have completed a recent installation for Harlequins FC, working alongside White Horse Contractors to deliver a hybrid GrassMaster Solutions pitch that meets the demands of elite rugby.   ✅The previous surface required upgrades to improve drainage, enhance player grip and traction, and withstand heavier usage for fixtures and training. As the new English Rugby season approaches, I’m delighted that Harlequins FC will soon be playing on a new GrassMaster hybrid field at the Twickenham Stoop for the 2025/26 season. Working closely with our construction partners, White Horse Contractors, the pitch has been completely rebuilt over the summer to deliver the premium playing surface that matches the fast, attacking rugby Harlequins are renowned for.
