This year’s opening round of the new World Rugby SVNS season was delivered through a truly global NEP effort. First use of Canon’s new ultra-wide lens at UEFA Champions League At NEP Europe, we love introducing new equipment into practice. On Tuesday our UK team used Canon’s brand-new CN5x11 IAS T R1/P1 for the very first time at the UCL game Chelsea vs FC Barcelona for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios. It really was something special when combined with one of our large sensor Sony HDC F5500 cameras. A full frame Cine-Servo lens with an expansive wide-angle zoom range, razor-sharp 8K quality and incredible flexibility, even in fast, dynamic environments. At just 3 kg, it’s great for gimbals, cranes, and shoulder-work, making it a real game-changer for live sports, and more. What a way to wrap up the final game of the Quilter Autumn Series at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin! With some real drama at the Ireland vs South Africa clash.  A huge honour for our Irish team to be onsite across all three games in Ireland, providing host broadcast facilities for TNT Sports / Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, with ancillary units supporting RTE Sport.
