In this role, you will build a strong understanding of Optiver’s business and the functions you support, enabling you to recruit effectively across a broad and varied portfolio. You will operate in a true 360° recruitment capacity, owning searches end to end for roles that differ significantly in scope, function, and seniority, ranging from leadership positions to operational and support roles.
Success in this role requires strong sourcing capability, the ability to manage multiple pipelines in parallel, and comfort switching context quickly in a fast-moving environment. You will partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders across the organization, using market insight, sound judgement, and a hands-on approach to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes and a consistently strong candidate experience.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for BOSC roles, from sourcing through to offer
- Proactively identify, engage, and convert talent across a wide range of functions, seniority levels, and role types
- Build and maintain proactive pipelines to support both current and future hiring needs
- Manage multiple searches simultaneously, adapting priorities as business needs evolve
- Partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to define role requirements, calibrate profiles, and shape hiring strategies
- Use recruitment data and market insights to inform decision-making and advise hiring managers on role scope, seniority, and hiring approach
- Partner with external agencies for sourcing on niche or hard-to-fill roles, including briefing, onboarding, and negotiating terms where required
- Manage ongoing relationships with external agencies, ensuring quality, alignment, and effective delivery
- Deliver a high-quality and consistent candidate experience, acting as a strong ambassador for Optiver
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve recruitment processes, sourcing approaches, and ways of working
- Experiment with new sourcing methods, tools, and technology to improve reach and efficiency
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- 3+ years of in-house recruitment experience
- Additional experience in an agency environment is a strong plus
- Experience recruiting for Business Operations, Support, or Control functions is preferred
- Prior experience supporting hiring for market makers or similar financial institutions, either in-house or on the agency side, is a significant advantage
- Strong sourcing capability and a proactive approach to engaging passive talent
- Comfortable managing multiple searches that vary significantly in scope and seniority and shifting priorities without losing momentum
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Pragmatic, organized, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and candidate experience
