As our Global ATM Engineering Manager, he plays a key role in shaping the future of ATM security solutions, working closely with customers, factories, and teams across continents. But beyond the technical expertise, what drives Gitesh is collaboration, continuous learning, and the satisfaction of seeing an idea turn into a finished product. Not for nothing, his contributions and leadership have recently been recognised with a nomination to Gunnebo’s RISE programme, where he joins other emerging leaders helping to shape the company’s future. 📅 When did you start working for Gunnebo?  “I joined Gunnebo in November 2013 in India. What attracted me was the chance to be involved in the complete product lifecycle, from talking to customers and designing solutions to manufacturing, delivery, and after-sales support. At Gunnebo, I could work end-to-end, and that really motivated me to join.” 💼 What does a Global ATM Engineering Manager do?  “I work in engineering and R&D, overseeing new product development for our OEM customers, mainly ATM manufacturers. I also manage value engineering projects, where we improve products and optimise costs to deliver more value. A big part of my day is coordinating with engineering team in India, Netherlands & other GSS colleagues, reviewing project statuses, aligning priorities, and supporting customer requirements.” 💡 What motivates you at Gunnebo?  “The best part is definitely my team. In our Doetinchem office, we’re five colleagues, and it feels like a small family. We enjoy working together and supporting each other, and that creates a positive environment. I’m also part of the ATM management team, and I get a lot of support from them.
