I’m pleased to share an important milestone: FOLKS is the first Brazilian company to join the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI), an industry-led coalition committed to developing industry best practices and frameworks to further innovation, safety and security for health AI. CHAI was started by clinicians. Its mission is to build the broadest possible consensus across the health ecosystem to help ensure AI is trusted, secure, and safe. The CHAI membership is open and rapidly expanding. Today it includes nearly 3000 organizations including health systems, patient advocacy groups, academia, and a wide range of industry start-ups and incumbents united by the goal of developing trustworthy guidelines for the ethical, transparent, and effective application of AI in health. Being part of this community is more than recognition, it’s a reaffirmation of our commitment to staying at the forefront of digital health transformation. FOLKS was born to lead digital transformation in healthcare. And now, as the market moves toward large-scale adoption of AI, we will leverage CHAI’s frameworks to ensure the ethical and responsible use of technology, grounded in safety, governance, and real impact. What many people Feel:- Many investors tend to equate elder care with hospital visits, ambulance services, or occasional doctor consultations. Some believe that hospitals can provide great elder care by simply admitting seniors and sending doctors during emergencies. While these are indeed crucial elements of healthcare, they barely scratch the surface of what elder care really means. How it should be differentiated:- Elder care is not just about medical emergencies—it is about daily living, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. It is about ensuring that our elderly loved ones feel valued, heard, and supported in every aspect of their lives. Imagine this: a senior citizen struggling with routine banking work, an aging parent needing assistance with paperwork, or a lonely elder yearning for a conversation, a story, or even a song to brighten their day.
