The team delivered hands-on learning through various activities, including agriculture workshops and safety-themed games, and brought along school supplies, prizes, and learning materials. A solar-powered water pumping system was also installed for the school. 🏫 ⚡️🌤️ The installation of this solar water pump addresses the school’s long-standing water shortage during the dry season. It now provides sufficient water for restrooms, cooking, and hygiene without the burden of rising electricity costs. ✨ World Vision Foundation of Thailand and the Global Fund Oversight Committee Conduct TB Project Monitoring Visit in Songkhla Province 📆 In November 2025, #WorldVisionThailand, as the Principal Recipient (PR) of the Stop TB and AIDS through RRTTPR (STAR 2024-2026) project, joined the Global Fund Oversight Committee (OC) in visiting a project site under the Global Fund TB programme in Songkhla Province. The purpose was to review the progress of the local-level implementation and listen to challenges, obstacles, and recommendations from healthcare providers and community workers. This field visit aimed to emphasise the vital role of civil society, particularly Stella Maris (STM), which serves as a Sub-recipient, as well as the work of multidisciplinary teams in caring for TB patients, conducting proactive screening, and deploying Mobile X-ray units among key populations. Situation Report #1 The flooding in southern Thailand has affected more than 3 million people. World Vision Foundation of Thailand has launched the “Southern Floods Response 2025 Project” and opened a fundraising campaign to deliver aid to the affected areas. Between 24–28 November 2025, urgent assistance was provided to flood-affected communities in Songkhla Province by distributing relief items and food to 10 temporary shelters and 2 churches, benefiting over 15,200 people. Coming Together, Sharing Stories, Colouring, and Healing Children’s Hearts Amid the Flood Crisis 🎨🥰 🚨 In every crisis, children are the most vulnerable. When floods swept through southern Thailand, many families had to evacuate urgently to temporary shelters. Amid the chaos, children faced fear and uncertainty. 💁🏻 World Vision Foundation of Thailand staff understood that these children needed more than food and a bed but someone to listen, to make them feel safe and cared for. 🎤 “We started by bringing children together, teaching them about disasters, asking how they felt, listening to their stories, and talking about coping, preparation, and their needs. Then we moved on to the colouring activity,” said Sukeera Thongnok, Programme Manager in Songkhla and a member of the Southern Floods Response 2025 Project team. ✍🏻 As small hands held crayons and coloured the paper, tension slowly eased, and smiles began to return. Video Interview Update from Hat Yai 🎥 An in-depth look at World Vision Foundation of Thailand’s response to the flood crisis in Southern Thailand.   The severe flooding in the southern region has forced over 2 million people to evacuate, with many vulnerable children and families still sheltering in temporary evacuation centres.   Abigajla interviewed Komaruddin Sae-moh, Project Coordinator at World Vision Foundation of Thailand, about the organisation’s emergency response efforts—delivering drinking water, food, medicine, and essential supplies to more than 25,000 affected individuals in the hardest-hit areas.   This video highlights both our urgent relief operations and long-term recovery work—including repairing schools, restoring livelihoods, and strengthening community resilience to better prepare for future disasters. World Vision Foundation of Thailand Empowers Children and Youth to Raise Their Voices for Child Rights 🎤👧👦    📅 On 22 November 2025, #WorldVisionThailand joined the 5th Children and Youth Voice Festival under the theme ‘Children’s Power, Future Power’ at Amora Tapae Hotel, Chiang Mai.
