The 2026 Taiwan Foxconn Ladies Golf Tournament has been elevated to the JLPGA Official Tour, with a USD 2 million prize purse—one of the largest on the tour. Co-organized by the TLPGA and the JLPGA, it marks the return of an official JLPGA event to Taiwan after 48 years and stands as the only overseas stop on the 2026 JLPGA Tour. Today’s press conference featured Chia-Yen Wu, fresh off a JLPGA Tour victory, and Yui Kawamoto, No. 3 on the 2025 JLPGA Mercedes Rankings and a fan favorite in Japan. This March, they will be joined by a field of 108 elite players from the JLPGA, TLPGA, and the world, coming together in Taiwan for one of the season’s most competitive tournaments.
